Requesting Cheeks Family Facebook Group Membership

The Cheeks Family Facebook Group is a rules-based, curated “safe space” for identified and registered Cheeks relatives to keep in touch virtually and share family related information.

The following steps will guide you through the process of requesting membership in our family Facebook group.

A personal Facebook account is required to join the group.
If you do not have a personal Facebook account but would like to join the group and willing to create an account, I will be available to assist you, if needed, in creating and using your personal Facebook account.

Login into your personal Facebook account and then access the family Facebook group page directly using the following link: Cheeks Family Facebook Group.
The family Facebook group page will be displayed with a Join group button if you are logged into your personal Facebook page.
If you are not logged into your personal Facebook account when using the above link, the Facebook login screen will be displayed. After logging into your personal Facebook account, the family Facebook group page will be displayed with a Join group button.
Click on the Join group button and two questions will be displayed.
If you received an email invitation to join the group, answer "Yes" to the first question. Also include your name and email address the invitation was sent to. Scroll down pass the second question, read and agree to the group rules, then submit the Join group request. You will not need to verify your family relationship to the Cheeks family.
If you did not receive an email invitation to join the group, answer "No" to the first question. Answer the second question in full, including a description of your Cheeks family relationship as detailed in the Family Relationship Verification information panel. Then submit the Join group request.
